White Water
Williams 1993
White Water is a 1993 pinball game designed by Dennis Nordman and released by Williams. The theme is based on white-water rafting, which is reflected in the game’s wild arrangement of ramps and fast gameplay. The ball was actually designed to tap the glass when it’s riding down the “Insanity Falls” ramp.
Bigfoot hides out on the upper playfield and has a lot to say about which direction the ball goes. The topper has a very neat waterfall effect, assuming you have the original decal—which this one does. Even with modern technology, the original topper decal seems hard to recreate.
The playfield is original, and it’s been stripped down to a flat surface with no parts remaining, deep-cleaned, clearcoated, and preserved to last a very, very long time. It was then reassembled with a long list of expensive parts—in this case, new ramps, NOS molded boulder plastics, CPR mirrored backglass and much more. Bigfoot even received a well-deserved bath and spa treatment.
Similar to a restored automobile that gets detailed “under the hood,” the bottom of the playfield also gets a lot of attention in the detailing department to make it look new. To make it work like new, any mechanism that has a coil is taken apart, cleaned, and reassembled with new parts. Last but not least, the cabinet had new graphics installed and looks better than the day it came out of the box.
