Twilight Zone Restoration

Restored in 2017. Starting off with a typical dirty Twilight Zone playfield that is actually in pretty good condition. Upon closer inspection though I noticed that someone put a screw that was too long in the slot machine bracket underneath and it popped through the upper side of the playfield. My OCD was not happy, I could have touched it up and clearcoated the playfield but I decided to install a brand new playfield. Doing a playfield swap on a game like T.Z was going to be a challenge, but I felt I was up to the task.

The metal on the bottom side will also need to be cleaned, the method varies depending on the part. Some will be soaked in rust removal chemicals, some cleaned by hand, some will be polished in a media tumbler, but all will be sprayed with a light coat of clearcoat to protect from rusting again in the future.
