Restored in 2016. This Bride of PinBot restoration included a full Mylar removal and playfield clearcoat. Many games from this era had a clear Mylar film installed on the playfield surface to protect the playfield from wear. This seemed like a good idea at the time, but as the Mylar aged, it became dull and would usually peel or bubble. The process of removing the Mylar is tedious and risky and must be done very carefully. Once the glue residue is carefully cleaned, any touch-ups can be made, and then the final clearcoat is applied.
