Notable features on the playfield include four mechanized Martian figures, a strobe light (for Strobe Multiball), and several flying saucers mounted above the ramps and loops. The largest of these, placed above a set of targets at the top center of the playfield, can shake and flash in time with the player’s success in defeating Martian forces.

This game is currently in storage, waiting for me to find the time to restore it. In the meantime, I’ll come up with a plan on how I’m going to attack it—see what I did there? I will definitely install a new playfield and new cabinet graphics. I will also add an LED kit to the mini saucers. A Color DMD and LED lighting are a must, as well as Invisiglass.

My previous Attack From Mars was in pristine condition, so bringing this one up to the same standard won’t be easy The standards are high, and I’m ready—but saving the world from a Martian invasion will have to wait!
